Joshua Brown is an Associate with Mcnamara & Associates.
Josh was born and raised in the Lockyer Valley, Queensland and attended Lockyer District High School.
Josh aspired to become a Solicitor early on in life however when Josh first left school he joined with the Australian Army Reserves and took one year off to work. At the beginning of 2007 Josh commenced his Bachelor of Laws at the University of Southern Queensland in Toowoomba. In January 2008 Josh was offered a position as a Law Clerk where he commenced his career with McNamara and Associates.
In 2009 Josh took six months off from McNamara and Associates to complete a rotation in Malaysia with the Army Reserves. During this rotation Kerian McNamara travelled to Malaysia to visit Josh and to experience the life of a reserve soldier.
In November 2011 Josh completed his Bachelor of Laws degree and in June 2012 he commenced a Diploma of Legal Practice at the Queensland University of Technology to qualify him for admission as a Lawyer in Queensland.
On 3 June 2013 Josh was admitted as a Lawyer to the Supreme Court of Queensland and then on 16 August 2013 to the High Court of Australia.
Josh’s experience includes civil litigation, debt recovery, personal injury, total and permanent disability and income protection claims, animal law, victims of crime compensation, criminal and traffic matters.
